ETNA-European Thematic Network on Assistive Information Technology

A Thematic Network supported by the European Commission through the CIP ICT-PSP programme (project 270746)

Over a period of 3 years, it worked at establishing a European Web Portal providing unified access to information on ICT assistive products and related organisations and services all over Europe, and to allow access to repositories of freeware, open source software products and tools useful for e-accessibility. The Portal was intended to upgrade the already-existing web portal of the European Assistive Technology Information Network (EASTIN), the most comprehensive information service on assistive technology worldwide.

eAccess+ is partially funded under the ICT Policy Support Programme (ICT PSP) as part of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme by the European Community EU SEVENTH FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME ICT PSP third call for proposals 2009: CIP-ICT-PSP-2009-3, Project Number: 250568 eAccess+ is driven by (25 core members), coming from all over Europe.

The network has a special focus on three topics within the wide range of topics of eAccessibility:
